NOD Militant Rocket Squad


The NOD Rocket Squad


The NOD Rocket Squad is one of the most basic unit in the NOD army.  They are mainly used against structures but can do damage to vehicles as well.  Like the basic Rifleman Squad, they are weak against other infantry and will not do much damage to other infantry.  They're useful when you first start out although I've not used them for long.  Once you get the Vertigo, sell them boys, you will not regret it.  They will certainly pave the way for you in your first steps in the game as NOD.  They have good range which makes them idea in clearing the path on the defensive end.



*The Defense Unit is very much the same.  However, in the defensive end of it, they excel at taking down aircraft and doing decent damage to vehicles.  Their main strength, however, is against aircraft but I found them to be of be of very little use later on once everyone uses Snipers.

The missile squad should be looked at as a temporary unit.  You would be much better off using attack bikes instead if you are that early in the game or bite the dust and wait for Vertigos but I suggest getting something in the meantime.  The Militant Squad costs little so it's a good choice for a couple of days.  Once I've researched Vertigos, they have been replaced entirely.
