For what is apparently the best unit in the game, I'm quite disappointed.  It's not very strong against the base which is what it's supposed to be strongest against.  I'll take a Commando over one of them hunk of junks any day.  Their range is too wide to be used as a base buster.  It excels at taking out structures in the defensive end though and can take a lot of abuse from those dreaded Forgotten Flaks and the like.  It's really hard to take down one of them when nearly equal level, they have a similar endurance as the GDI Commando.

I can't really recommend it yet as Ive not yet had good experiences with them.  Many of this game's veterans aren't too fond of them either; maybe the upgrade will be worth it?  If it ever comes out?

The Kodiak is probably the most disappointing unit in the game, IMHO.  It's expensive and yet the Firehawk is more effective.  This should be your last research, honestly, it was mine and I don't regret it getting it last, you probably won't either if you do.
