GDI Guardian

The GDI Guardian APC

You get the Guardian when you first start the game.  It is still vastly used by players to use against MG Nests and Sniper Teams.  They are quite fast moving and will take down Nests and Snipers like a bad habit but is VERY weak to any anti-tank defense unit.  I no longer personally use them as I don't mind paying extra to get more Sniper Teams.

I still recommend them for anyone who wants an easier way to take out MG Nests and Snipers that will bother the balance of the whole attack.  Its achilles heel is its short range but can take a good amount of abuse from light firepower.

*The defense version, I never really used.  Tried it out for kicks and giggles but ended up kicking it to the curb.  It's the exact same as the attacker, it's goal is to take out infantry.  Most players are smart enough to avoid them in battle and they are quite easy to take out.

The Guardian is mostly a "beginner's" unit.  Most players who still use them just don't like selling stuff or got attached to them.  The Sniper and Orca do a much better job than this so I wouldn't get too attached to it.  If you're a scrooge then you can keep them for a very long time, they are not completely useless.
