Age old ain't it?  You see them often in medieval type MMO's.  They do what is meant and do quite well at shredding up infantry as well as do damage to vehicles.  Don't be shocked if you see assailants not make it out of barbwire alive.  Probably the cheapest unit to upgrade in the game.  It's cheap and will damage any ground unit other than Commando and Pitbull.  Not a whole lot more to say about it other than it's best used as a "Razor Field", it will just make anything crossing it's life a living hell.

If anyone who's under your level (similar alliance bonus) who send infantry in the way of your barbwire will get rocked if they don't take them out early.  They're not so forgiving.  I don't use them anymore as I traded a bunch to get a pair MG nests instead.
